Rajasthan youths who want to start their own ventures would be provided financial and technical assistance, Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje said here Monday.
Stating that focus should be on entrepreneurship development along with skill training, Raje asked officials to prepare a work plan.
"Skill development programmes should be prepared keeping in mind long-term and short term requirements of the state," Raje said addressing a meeting on skill development at the Chief Minister's Office.
She asked for working in tandem with the National Development Skill Council so that trained youth could be assisted in getting employment.
Raje directed officials to develop employment offices in the state as career centres so that youth can get facilities of counselling, skill development and placement.
She said industries and corporate houses should be invited for industrial development and bringing more investment in the state.
