Rajat Kapoor's unreleased film to be screened soon (Movie Snippets)

Actor-director Rajat Kapoor's first film "The Masters", which didn't make it to the theatres, will be screened here later this month.

To be presented by production house Drishyam Films, "The Masters" will be screened on January 27.

"My first film - never released. Now thanks to Drishyam, will have a screening on the 27th Jan," Rajat tweeted.

Drishyam Films has supported films like "Ankhon Dekhi", "Masaan" and "Umrika" in the past.

Sanjay Gupta begins recce for next film

Filmmaker Sanjay Gupta has started working on his next titled "Kaabil", which will be his third consecutive film shot in Mumbai.

"#KAABIL We start today (Wednesday). First day of recce and my third consecutive film in Mumbai," tweeted the director of "Jazbaa" and "Shootout at Wadala".

"Don't know how Woody Allen shot New York in film after film. Just the thought of shooting three films back to back in Mumbai is intimidating," he added.

Gupta believes "Kaabil" will be a "big challenge".

"The Bombay of 'Shootout at Wadala' and the Mumbai of 'Jazbaa' were radically different. Showing a new Mumbai in 'Kaabil' will be a big challenge," he posted on the micro-blogging site.

Mika donates Rs.500,000 to Mumbai police, lauded

Actor Manish Paul has complimented singer Mika Singh for having a "big heart" and donating Rs.500,000 to Mumbai police.

"@MikaSingh paaji donated 5 lakhs to mumbai police. Man with a big heart! Need more people like you (sic)," Manish tweeted about the singer, who also performed on his upcoming single titled "Billo" for the Mumbai police at a recent event here.
