Ramos advances to Vienna Open Tennis second round

Spanish tennis player Albert Ramos defeated Italian Fabio Fognini to enter the second round of the Vienna Open here on Wednesday.

Ramos managed to win 6-2, 6-2 in less than an hour as he put an end to a series of defeats against Fognini, who won every single match in their previous eight encounters, reports Efe.

Ramos will be playing the second round against Austrian Jurgen Melzer, who advanced by eliminating the Spanish Roberto Bautista 6-3, 7-5.
