Actor Ravi Teja, who was supposed to work in the Telugu remake of the Hindi blockbuster "Special 26", says he's not quite sure about the status of the project as there's been no development.
"I was approached for the remake and I was interested too. However, there has been no update on the project from the makers, so I really can't say when the film will go on floors," Ravi told IANS, adding that he really loved the film and feels it would work if remade.
"It would make a great remake. This is the kind of film I'd love to do - a thriller with great scope for comedy, which is the perfect combination to appeal to the masses," he said.
The 47-year-old currently has two Telugu projects up his sleeve.
