Spanish football club Real Madrid claimed their 13th consecutive win in all competitions as they won a tough away game against Eibar 4-0.
Goals from James Rodriguez, Cristiano Ronaldo (twice), who has now scored against 51 different teams as a Real Madrid player, and Karim Benzema gave the league leaders what ended up as a clear win against a side which never gave up Saturday, reports Xinhua.
Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti coped with the loss of midfielder Luka Modric, through injury, by dropping Isco back into midfield and fielding a very attacking line-up which included Gareth Bale, Ronaldo, Benzema and Rodriguez.
If Real Madrid were expecting an easy game against a side with a budget 35 times smaller than theirs, they were mistaken as Eibar took the game to them from the off and could have taken the lead though Mikel Arruabarrena and Manu del Moral, who both missed when well-placed.
Bale saw a free-kick saved by Eibar keeper Xabi Irureta and Rodriguez put Madrid ahead with a close range header after a confused move which should have been ruled out due to a Benzema offside.
Iker Casillas produced a reflex save from Saul Berjon shortly afterwards as Eibar looked to respond quickly while Irureta responded well to produce a reflex stop to deny Sergio Ramos.
Eibar were battling hard and chasing down every loose ball and Madrid were never comfortable on the ball, although Dani Carjaval was always finding space down the Madrid right and it was another of his probing runs which set up Ronaldo to double Real Madrid's lead two minutes before halftime.

Ramos saw a point blank header saved 10 minutes into the second half and Isco squeezed a shot just wide but Eibar once again held their own reasonably well until Benzema side-footed home from close range 20 minutes after a confused move in which the home players claimed the ball had out of play previously.
Ronaldo scored a penalty five minutes from time to round off the scoring and net his 44th penalty as a Real Madrid player.
