Real Madrid continued their preparations on Wednesday ahead of Sunday's La Liga clash against Sporting Gijon.
Zinedine Zidane's charges completed a tough work-out which included both physical and ball work. The Real Madrid coach called up the following Castilla players for the session: Carlos Abad, Martin Odegaard, Marcos Llorente and Borja Mayoral, according to the club's website.
Both forward Gareth Bale and captain Sergio Ramos trained indoors.
The session got underway in the gym, after which the players used the Run Rocket machine, carrying out strength exercises relevant to football.
Next the ball took centre stage as the squad carried out various control, passing and possession drills. Meanwhile, the four goalkeepers worked on goalkeeper-specific drills, both with and without the ball.
Real Madrid are currently third in the La Liga with 40 points from 19 points -- four behind leaders Atletico Madrid. Barcelona are second with 42 points but the defending champions have played a game less.
