Football giants Real Madrid have completed the signing of midfielder Mateo Kovacic from Italy's Inter Milan, the Spanish club said on Tuesday.
Madrid reportedly paid around 35 million euro for the 21-year-old Croatian international who signed a six-year contract.
"Real Madrid C.F. and Inter Milan have agreed to the transfer of Mateo Kovacic, he will remain at the club for the next six seasons," said a statement on the club's website.
Kovacic will be unveiled as a Madrid player on Wednesday after undergoing medical tests.
The talented Croatian had been a brilliant player for Inter over the past two years, netting eight goals in 44 matches last season.
