Real Madrid will be tracking Sporting Lisbon's promising talent Gelson Martins as he participates in the game against Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League group stage here on Tuesday.
Portuguese newspaper Correio da Manha on Monday said that Real Madrid will be sending its watchmen to Lisbon, not only to analyze the match between its group rivals, but also to assess the level of the new Portuguese gem,reports Efe.
Currently, Gelson is on the radar of other European giants, such as Barcelona, Manchester United and Bayern Munich.
Sporting is seeking to renew Gelson's contract, which stipulates the payment of 120,000 euros ($132,000) per annum, with an exit clause of $66 million.
