Brazilian soccer legend Rivaldo upon landing here on Sunday said he is happy with the hospitality he received in India and will love to be back again soon.
"I am very excited to be in India. I thank India for the great hospitality. I hope I will be back very soon," the World Cup and Ballon d'Or winner told reporters on arrival at the Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport.
The 44-year-old former Barcelona and AC Milan star, who could play as an attacking midfielder, second striker and also winger, came to Kolkata from Delhi, where he attended a programme for young players organised by Indian Super league (ISL) outfit Delhi Dynamos as part of its grassroots programme.
"I thank Prashant (Agarwal, CEO Dynamos) for giving me the opportunity to come to India. I want to keep close relation with India in Brazil too," added Rivaldo who called it a day in 2015 after a glorious career both with his clubs as well as the national team.
