Six civilians were killed when a roadside bomb planted by militants struck a car in the southern Kandahar province, an official said on Saturday.
"Six civilians, including four women, were killed when their car ran over a mine on a road in Shah Walikot district yesterday (Friday) evening," Samim Khapalwak, a spokesman for the provincial government, told Xinhua news agency.
He also blamed the enemies of peace, a term used against Taliban militants by officials, for the attack.
