Roger Feghali wins 36th Rally of Lebanon

Lebanese driver Roger Feghali continued his dominance by winning the 36th Rally of Lebanon for the 11th time.

Feghali and his co-pilot Joseph Matar on a Ford Fiesta won the Sunday's race organised under the patronage of Lebanon's President Michel Suleiman, reports Xinhua.

Nasser Al-Attiyah of Qatar and his Italian co-pilot Geovanni Bernaccini on a Ford Fiesta RRC took the second place ahead of Lebanon's Abdo Feghali and his co-pilot in his Mini Cooper RRC who finished third overall.

The Rally of Lebanon is the fourth stage of the Middle East Championship and was competed over three days with the participation of 38 cars from Lebanon, Qatar, Kuwait and Jordan.

It is considered one of the most difficult stages of the Middle East championship and extends over 854 kilometres with 13 special stages of 256 kilometres.
