Actress Rose Byrne "hasn't left" her house for three months because it takes so much effort to get herself and her son ready.
"I'm still in a fog. I haven't even left my apartment in three months. It takes an hour and 45 minutes to get out of the house with a baby, and by the time I'm ready, I'm exhausted. I'm done, I'm going back in. I don't care!" She told News.com.au at the 2016 Met Gala, reports femalefirst.co.uk.
The 36-year-old actress was surprised that all the "cliches" about having a baby have turned out to be true, and while she is incredibly tired, she wouldn't have it any other way.
She said: "I have a new appreciation for motherhood having just become a parent. Really, I've turned around a lot. It's actually very true all the stuff that you go through, all the cliches, which is a big surprise to me.
"I'm tired, but even so, all of it's great. But you definitely go into a cocoon."
'Vinyl' actor Bobby is already a father to 21-year-old son Jake - who he has with ex-wife Jenny Lumet - and Rose is thankful the 46-year-old star has previous experience to draw on and help guide her in caring for Rocco.

She said: "Bobby is terrific. He has a 21 year old so this is old hat to him. And I have to say, having someone who's already a parent is great because this is all very, very new to me. So I'm just taking tips from him."
The "Bridesmaids" star said she had "always loved" the name Rocco, long before her baby was born.
Asked about the unusual moniker, she said: "Oh, I've always loved it. The name actually comes from a saint, St. Rocco, which I thought was very beautiful."
