Eminent scientist G. Satheesh Reddy, director of the Hyderabad-based premier missile research laboratory Research Centre Imarat, has been conferred with the fellowship of the Royal Institute of Navigation (RIN).

He has been honoured for his contribution to the fields of inertial and satellite-based navigation and avionics technologies.

Reddy became the first and the only scientist from India to be conferred the fellowship by the institute.
