Russia has decided to hold back by two days the trial launch of its latest Angara lightweight rocket, a Russian Aerospace Forces spokesman announced Friday.
"State commission members have analysed preparations of the Angara-1.2PP and the ground infrastructure for the test flights," Xinhua quoted the spokesman as saying.
The launch will take place June 27 instead of June 25 at the Plesetsk Cosmodrome in Russia's northern Arkhangelsk region.
The spokesman said that the rocket will be delivered to the space centre June 25.
The Angara system, produced by the Khrunichev State Research and Production Space Centre, can launch space rockets of various classes, with workload varying from 1.5 to 35 tonnes.
