Director Ryan Coogler, who has helmed films like "Creed" and "Fruitvale Station", is in talks to direct Marvel's "Black Panther".
According to sources, "Black Panther" will be the second time the Marvel Studios approached Coogler for directing a film, reports variety.com.
"Black Panther", created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby, first appeared in the pages of "Fantastic Four" and was a long-serving member of the "Avengers".
The film is slated to release on July 6, 2018.
