Anupam Kher-starrer "Saaransh" completed 32 years of its release on Wednesday, and the veteran actor says he likes his journey in cinema.
The Padma Bhushan awardee played a retired middle class Maharashtrian man in the film when he was 28 years old.
"'Saaransh' released on 25 May, 1984. I complete 32 years in cinema and 499 movies today. Jai Ho. 32 years of 'Saaransh'," Anupam tweeted on Wednesday.
The actor also thanked god and his fans for being kind to him.
"32 years of 'Saaransh'. I like my journey in cinema. God has been kind to me and so have been you, my friends. Thank you," he added.

Arjun Kapoor practicing basketball for 'Half Girlfriend'
Actor Arjun Kapoor is practising basketball for his upcoming film "Half Girlfriend", which also stars actress Shraddha Kapoor.
The 30-year-old actor shared a topless photograph of himself on Twitter on Tuesday night.
"Practice, sleep, practice, sleep, repeat and repeat! Basketball. 'Half girlfriend'," Arjun captioned the image.
"Half Girlfriend" is an adaptation of a novel of the same name written by author Chetan Bhagat.
This is not the first time that Arjun will be working in an adaptation. He has also starred in the movie "2 States", an adaptation of Bhagat's book "2 States: The Story of My Marriage".
