The Steel Authority of India Ltd. (SAIL) on Friday said it closed the first quarter with a loss of Rs.321.64 crore.
In a regulatory filing in BSE, the steel-maker said the company posted a net loss of Rs.321.64 crore for the quarter ended June 30, as compared to net profit of Rs.529.88 crore for the quarter ended June 30, last year.
Total income decreased from Rs.11,536.98 crore for the quarter ended June 30, last year to Rs.9,677.05 crore for the quarter ended June 30, this year.
