Sao Paulo scored twice in the final 15 minutes to shock Brazilian league leaders Cruzeiro with a 2-0 away victory in Belo Horizonte.

Douglas broke the deadlock in the 77th minute before Reinaldo added a second three minutes later at the Mineirao stadium Wednesday, reports Xinhua.

The victory was just Cruzeiro's fourth of the Campeonato Brasileiro campaign but they remain 11 points clear of second-placed Gremio.

In Recife, Clarence Seedorf scored a goal and set up another as Botafogo ended a five-game winless run with a 3-1 victory over Nautico.

Rafael Marquez and Gege also scored for the visitors after Maikon Leite opened the scoring at Arena Pernambuco.

In Rio de Janeiro, defender Cris scored the only goal of the match to give Vasco da Gama a 1-0 victory over city rivals Fluminense.
