Actress Sarah Jessica Parker, known for playing the shoe-obsessed character Carrie Bradshaw in "Sex and the City", will launch her own line.
Parker is teaming up with high-end shoe brand Manolo Blahnik's CEO George Malkemus to launch her fashion line SJP in 2014, reports eonline.com.
"In a silly way, I think it's what people have expected of me most because of Carrie Bradshaw. Because I got to play that role, I wore a lot of shoes and by default I learned an enormous amount," Vogue magazine quoted the 48-year-old as saying.
She reveals there would be an assortment of colours that people wished to have in their closet.
"We're putting new colours together that people don't typically do, just beautiful combinations that you wish existed in your closet," Parker said.
Apart from shoes, SJP will also include bags.
"And in terms of bags, thinking about that period of the seventies (1970s) into the eighties (1980s), what those women were carrying, taking away the bells, the whistles and hardware and really making it about the bag," she said.
