The Supreme Court is likely to hear Monday an application by Sahara Group chief Subrata Roy seeking extension of another 10 days' stay in the conference hall of the Tihar Jail court complex for negotiating the sale of his assets.

The assets located abroad and within the country are to be sold to raise Rs.10,000 crore as part repayment of investors' money that Sahara Group's two companies had collected under OFCDs.

Sahara lawyer mentioned the matter before the bench headed by Justice T.S. Thakur on Friday.
