American actor-director Seane Stone and Indo-Canadian actress Tina Thadani have teamed up for a short Hindi film titled "Anarkali".
The film's story is a modern adaption of the old Bollywood classic, "Mughal-e-Azzam".
"It's an intriguing storyline based on a star-crossed love story in the midst of the chaos of the hustling city of Mumbai," Tina said in a statement.
"The script was written about five years back and we've finally decided to bring it to life. This is something that is current right now and this story needs to be told from a female perspective," she added.
Tina has wrapped up the shooting of her upcoming Hollywood TV show "Guru", while Seane, the son of award-winning director Oliver Stone will also be seen in film "Night Walk".
The shooting for "Anarkali" will start by the end of this month and the film will be released in the form of series.
