At least six militants were killed when security forces raided their hideouts in eastern Afghanistan, officials said Wednesday.
"Personnel of security forces conducted operations against Taliban hideouts in Gero district late Tuesday night, leaving six rebels including three foreigners dead," Xinhua reported citing Gero district governor Khair Khah as saying.
The Gero district is located in east Afghanistan's Ghazni province.
Foreign militants including Pakistani nationals have been fighting alongside Taliban militants in Afghanistan.
