Three persons, including a senior police official, were killed and 11 others injured in a suicide bombing in Balochistan province of Pakistan on Monday, the police said.
District Police Officer (DPO) Killa Abdullah Sajid Mohmand, his guard and a civilian were killed when the bombing targeted a vehicle carrying the police officials in Chaman area, Dawn online quoted police spokesman Shazada Farhat as saying.
Farhat said the police found a badly damaged motorcycle at the site and were trying to determine whether a bomb was rigged to it.
An emergency has been declared in provincial hospitals.
No group has so far claimed responsibility for the bombing.
Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar and Balochistan Home Minister Mir Sarfaraz Ahmed Bugti condemned the attack.
