A benchmark index of Indian equities markets, the 30-scrip Sensitive Index (Sensex), on Thursday was trading at 103.64 points or 0.39 percent up during the morning session.
The wider 50-scrip Nifty of the National Stock Exchange (NSE) was also trading at 29.40 points or 0.36 percent up at 8,153.85 points.
The Sensex of the S&P Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), which opened at 26,959.98 points, was trading at 26,944.14 points (at 9.20 a.m.) in the early session, up 103.64 points or 0.39 percent from the previous day's close at 26,840.50 points.
The Sensex has touched a high of 27,000.14 points and a low of 26,931.85 points in the trade so far.
All the sectors were trading in green. The rally was led by realty, consumer durables, healthcare and capital goods sectors.
