Shallow fog enveloped the national capital Friday morning, announcing the arrival of winter.
"Shallow morning fog has arrived in the national capital. The temperature will start falling in some days," an India Meteorological Department (IMD) official said.
The minimum temperature early Friday was recorded at 17.5 degrees Celsius, average for this time of the year.
The day will be clear, with maximum temperature expected to be around 31 degrees Celsius.
The humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 91 percent.
The maximum temperature Thursday was recorded at 31.3 degrees Celsius, average for this time of the year, while the minimum temperature settled one notch above average at 18.2 degrees.
