BJP leader Shatrughan Sinha on Sunday said he supported RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat's call for a review of job quotas, and also hit out at "vested interests" opposed to him (Sinha).

"Bhagwat's views on review of reservations (in education and jobs) should be taken seriously," the Bharatiya Janata Party MP said on Twitter. "We hold the views of the RSS supremo in high esteem.

"Sad and disheartened at attempts by some people to ridicule and make fun of this highly learned, father figure of the RSS and BJP," he added.

The actor-turned-politician also warned "vested interests, 'chamchas' and some of my own people who call me sulking, disgruntled, negative...

"I am cool, calm, composed and least worried. Whatever I have said, done or will do is in the larger interest of Bihar its people and our party," said Sinha, widely known as "Bihari Babu".

"Bihari Babu is only interested in peace, prosperity, progress, growth and glory of Bihar, no matter where it comes from," he said.
