Home Minister Sushilkumar Shinde will lead a high-level delegation to the US next week to attend the Indo-American Homeland Security Dialogue, a statement said Sunday.
During his May 19-23 trip, Shinde would meet Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano and attend the plenary session of the Homeland Security Dialogue.
Shinde will also meet other top security and legal officials including Federal Bureau of Investigation director Robert Mueller and US Attorney General Eric Holder, said the statement.
He would also visit ground zero in Boston, where a bomb attack took place recently during a marathon race.
Shinde will also visit Fairfax county adult detention centre (jail) besides many other institutions related to security in Washington, Boston and New York, said the statement.
