The filming of movie adaptation of the popular TV show "Downton Abbey" will reportedly start in September.
Series creator Julian Fellowes is teaming up with production house Carnival Films to make the film on the period drama.
"Film bosses have requested the services of crew members and accountants to work on the picture. A budget has been set and now it's a case of getting everything in place to start shooting. It would take something big to stop the project from happening now," a source told aceshowbiz.com.
The TV series is set in the fictional Yorkshire country estate of Downton Abbey between 1912 and 1925.
It depicts the lives of the aristocratic Crawley family and their domestic servants in the post-Edwardian era with the great events in history having an effect on their lives and on the British social hierarchy.
