Delhiites got some relief from the hot and humid weather with brief spells of rain Tuesday. The Met office has forecast a cloudy Wednesday.
"The sky will remain clear in the morning, but will later turn cloudy. Light rain is likely in some parts," said an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
According to IMD, the city received 3.4 mm rainfall till 5:30 p.m. Tuesday.
The maximum and the minimum temperature Wednesday is likely to hover around 36 degrees Celsius and 29 degrees Celsius, respectively.
The maximum temperature Tuesday was recorded at 36 degrees Celsius, two notches above the season's average while the minimum temperature was recorded at 29.4 degrees Celsius, three notches above the season's average
Humidity varied between 62 percent and 83 percent.
The maximum temperature Monday was recorded at 35.8 degrees Celsius, two notches above the season's average while the minimum temperature settled a notch above the season's average at 27.2 degrees Celsius.
