Actress Shruti Haasan is in "love" with the music of American hip-hop artiste Kendrick Lamar, who will vie for 11 prestigious golden gramophones at the upcoming 58th Annual Grammy Awards.
"Thank you Kendrick Lamar for making my 2016 so awesome! Love this man's music," Shruti, best known for her roles in films like "Anaganaga O Dheerudu", "7aum Arivu", "Race Gurram" and "Ramaiya Vastavaiya", tweeted on Tuesday.
Lamar has been nominated in categories including Album of the Year, Song of the Year, Best Pop Duo/Group Performance, Best Dance Recording, Best Rap Performance, Best Rap/Sung Collaboration, Best Rap Song, Best Rap Album and Best Music Video.
Shruti, daughter of renowned actor Kamal Haasan and actress Sarika, has also displayed her singing skills in some of her films like "Luck".

Megastar Amitabh Bachchan, seen as a wheelchair-bound chess grandmaster in Bejoy Nambiar's latest directorial "Wazir", has thanked his fans for the "love, appreciation and patronage for the success" of the drama thriller film.
"Wazir", which also stars Farhan Akhtar, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Aditi Rao Hydari and John Abraham, minted Rs.21.01 crore in its opening weekend.

Singer Mika Singh has thanked Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav for the 'Saifai Mahotsava', the annual cultural and sports extravaganza, that witnessed performances by Bollywood stars like Saif Ali Khan, Kareena Kapoor, Sonakshi Sinha, Sonam Kapoor, Parineeti Chopra and Ranveer Singh.
The festival concluded late Monday night.
Mika, who performed some of his hits at the event, took to Twitter to thank Akhilesh Yadav for a "great show and hospitality".
"Great show in #Safai. Thank you to the CM and my brother @yadavakhilesh for such great show and hospitality," Mika tweeted.
Parineeti and Sonakshi also took to the micro-blogging site to share a video of them with Ranveer while enjoying the performance of rapper Badshah.
