Singer Adam Lambert will be joining the cast of television series "Glee" for its fifth season.
Ryan Murphy, the writer of the musical comedy-drama, confirmed Lambert's entry by posting on Twitter, reports eonline.com.
"I am thrilled to announce that the super talented Adam Lambert is joining the cast of 'Glee' this fall," Murphy posted.
The former "American Idol" constestant retweeted his message and added: "I'm so excited".
