At least six people were killed when a train hit an auto-rickshaw at a level crossing in Bangladesh on Monday.
"The train rammed the auto on an unmanned level crossing in Jamalpur district around 2 p.m. (local time), killing six people including five women on the spot," Xinhua quoted the district's senior police official Monirul Islam as saying.
The railway authorities formed an inquiry committee to investigate the accident.
There are many unmanned level crossings in Bangladesh, where most tracks are in a dilapidated condition and often cause accidents.
