At least six people were killed and 206 others were injured on Sunday in a fire in a residential complex of Saudi Aramco oil company in Saudi Arabia's Eastern province, the media reported.
The oil company, located in Saudi Arabia's Al-khobar city, worked with the local defence team in putting down the fire, reported Xinhua news agency.
The complex is home to employees of the oil giant. An investigation has been launched into the incident.
The civil defence authorities said the fire started in the basement of a tower in the complex.
Among the injured, some were in critical condition, while the casualties were from different nations.
Saudi Aramco is the world's largest oil firm in terms of crude production and exports. It has more than 61,000 workers worldwide from 77 countries.
