At least three people were killed on Sunday when their small plane crashed in central Brazil, authorities said.
The Brazilian Air Force (FAB) said in a press release that the plane took off from the city of Palmeiras de Goias, in Goias state, and was headed towards the state capital of Goiania, 100 km away, Xinhua reported.
The single-engine aircraft crashed into a wooded area near the air terminal of the town of Trinidade, killing all three male passengers on board, the FAB said.
