India will witness a solar eclipse on Wednesday morning, the first in 2016 but it will only be briefly visible in the national capital, said the IMD.
"The solar eclipse will be visible in Delhi only at 6.44 a.m for a very short period of one minute or two. Rest of India will not be able to see it," said a senior official of the India Meteorological Department.
The IMD also advised that if anyone wants to see the eclipse then they should use either use a photo film or a sunglass, and avoid any direct look.
