South Korean taekwondo exponents continued their display of supremacy at the WTF World Taekwondo Championships taking away two gold medals Saturday in the event where they have so far accumulated six gold medals.
In the women's 57 kg weight category, South Korea's Kim So-Hee defeated Japan's Mayu Hamada to win the final 15-8. In the men's 58 kg final, South Korea's Lee Dae-Hoon beat Mexico's Abel Mendoza 16-4, reports Xinhua.
The seven-day event started here last Sunday with the participation of 872 athletes from 134 countries and regions.
