British band One Direction's forthcoming 3D movie "This Is Us" will be screened at the White House a few days prior to its official release here.
US President Barack Obama reportedly wanted to treat his two daughters - Malia, 15, and Sasha, 13 - to the film, reports dailystar.co.uk.
Malia and Sasha are huge fans of the band members - Zayn Malik, Harry Styles, Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson and Niall Horan. Now the two will get to watch their idols on Tuesday - the day of the official "This Is Us" world premiere in London and nine days before it goes on general release around the globe.
Dailystar.co.uk reports that a White House spokesman said Malia and Sasha were "hugely excited" about their early screening.
An aide to President Obama revealed: "He (Obama) and Michelle are still hoping to get them (band members) to the White House one day soon. That would be the ultimate treat for their daughters."
Directed by Morgan Spurlock, "This Is Us" will give an insight into the boys' lifestyle. It will release in Britain Aug 20.
