SpiceJet on Tuesday announced it will launch two new daily flights from Amritsar to Bangkok and Goa.
The flights will commence from November 6, officials of the airlines said here after a meeting with Punjab Chief Minister Amarinder Singh.
The airline handed over the first ticket to Amarinder.
Amarinder Singh said that there was a huge potential of tourism in Punjab, especially the holy city of Amritsar, which is visited by a large number of devotees from around the world to pay obeisance at the Golden Temple and Durgiana Mandir besides visiting the Jallianwala Bagh.
