Actor Meka Srikanth is looking forward to the yet-untitled Telugu film of filmmaker Krishna Vamsi because he will be essaying a role closer to his real age and also because he will get to sport long locks.

"There are two things that have excited me about this project. Firstly, I will be playing a role that will be apt for my age and image in the industry. Vamsi has also asked me to grow my hair quite long. I have immense faith in him and that's precisely why I teamed up again," Srikanth told IANS.

Srikanth and Krishna Vamsi last worked in 2009 Telugu action-drama "Mahatma", which turned out to be a disaster.

"I can't hold Vamsi accountable for the film's failure. For various reasons it didn't work and I'm fine with it. Moreover, I work with him because I trust him as a filmmaker and he has proved himself with several films. We can't always pinpoint at failures," he said.

The duo also worked together in 2002 Telugu blockbuster "Khadgam".
