Technological solutions provider Steer group on Thursday announced setting up a startup to help pharma firms make drugs cost-effectively in a novel way.
"Our startup SteerLife will change the way medicines are made by moving manufacturing practices to continuous processing from conventional batch," a company official said here.
The 22-year-old city-based group has developed advanced technologies to transform and utilise materials in pharma, plastics, food and nutraceuticals.
"Our technologies will extend a product's life cycle, enhance bio-availability and create newer delivery systems for better quality of life," Steer group managing director Babu Padmanabhan told reporters here.
