Genoa striker Alessandro Matri has been ruled out of action for three weeks with a calf strain.
The loanee from Milan this season was sidelined for a friendly against Brescia Saturday, reported Xinhua.
According to the initial reports from the training camp, he suffered a calf strain and will have to spend 20 days on the treatment table.
This means Matri will probably be fit for the first round of the Serie A campaign.
