A girl studying in Class 9 was raped by a Class 10 student inside the school premises here, police said Wednesday.
Police said the girl, who filed a complaint three days after the incident, refused to undergo a medical examination.
According to the complaint, the boy dragged her to an isolated place and raped her inside the school in Rohini area Nov 25.
The girl said that at first she did not say anything about it to her aunt with whom she lives. But she later broke down and told her. They approached police Nov 28.
On the basis of the complaint, police registered a case at Prashant Vihar police station and began a probe.
"We have recovered CCTV footage in which the girl is seen going along with the boy from one place to another," a police officer told IANS.
Police said they were verifying the allegation, but the boy was on the run.
