Sun Pharma Advanced Research Company (SPARC) on Saturday reported a decline of 83 percent in its net loss for the first quarter of the current fiscal.
According to the company's filing with the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), its net loss for the quarter under review stood at Rs.1.65 crore from a net loss of Rs.9.74 crore for the corresponding quarter of 2014-15.
The company's total income increased by 17.11 percent during the first quarter of 2015-16 to Rs.43.65 crore from Rs.37.27 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2014.
SPARC had de-linked from Sun Pharma as a research and drug discovery firm in 2007.
The company's scrip at the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) had closed on Friday with gains of 1.01 percent or 4.10 points at Rs.408.80 from its previous close of Rs.404.70 per equity.
