The national capital saw a sunny Wednesday on the occasion of Diwali with the maximum temperature settling at 29.1 degrees Celsius, average for the season. Thursday morning will be foggy, the IMD said.
"There will be shallow fog on Thursday morning, while the sky would be clear the day ahead," said an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to hover around 29 and 17 degrees Celsius, respectively.
Wednesday's minimum temperature settled at 15.4 degrees Celsius, one notch above the season's average while the maximum humidity was recorded at 36 percent.
Tuesday's maximum temperature was recorded at 29.4 degrees Celsius, normal for this time of the season, while the minimum temperature settled at 16 degrees Celsius, two notches above the season's average.
