A group of AAP legislators have written to party convenor Arvind Kejriwal asking him to set an example by taking strict disciplinary action against party leaders Prashant Bhushan and Yogendra Yadav for "anti-party activities".
The letter, which was leaked to the media on Wednesday, also demanded the removal of party co-founder Shanti Bhushan for speaking against Kejriwal.
The letter to the Delhi chief minister, who is undergoing naturopathy treatment in Bengaluru, said: "We request you to take strict disciplinary action against these leaders. If it doesn't happen there will be no discipline in the party and the party will finish.
"We hope that you will take our statement seriously and set an example by taking action against these leaders," the two-page letter in Hindi said. It was not immediately known how many legislators have signed the letter.
Citing several anti-party activities, including tarnishing the image of the party by the Bhushans and Yadav, the legislators said : "The three leaders conspired for the defeat of the party in the Delhi assembly elections."
