The talks with Tamil Nadu's ruling AIADMK remained inconclusive on Wednesday, said DMDK leader L.K. Sudhish, hours after Deputy Chief Minister O. Panneerselvam said the DMDK will be part of the AIADMK alliance in the Lok Sabha polls.

DMDK leader L.K. Sudhish said his party led by Vijayakant will announce its stand on seat sharing on Thursday or Friday.

Speaking to reporters after meeting Union Minister and BJP leader Piyush Goyal at a five-star hotel here, Sudhish said: "We discussed the number of seats and constituencies. As time was short we decided to meet again."

Sudhish said the DMDK would align with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), which is in alliance with the AIADMK.

But the DMDK had expressed displeasure at the AIADMK signing an electoral pact with the PMK, allotting the latter seven Lok Sabha and one Rajya Sabha seats.

"(This) is between the two parties (AIADMK and PMK)," Sudhish said, quickly adding: "We know our party's strength."
