Chief of Royal Court of Jordan Fayez Tarawneh called Prime Minister Narendra Modi and exchanged views on the situation in West Asia and the scourge of terrorism, an official said on Saturday.
"Tarawneh exchanged views with Prime Minister on the situation in West Asia and the scourge of terrorism that calls for a comprehensive international response," a statement said.
According to the statement, Tarawneh called Modi on Friday.
"They discussed the shared commitment to strengthen bilateral engagement and the many opportunities in this regard," the statement said.
Tarawneh also conveyed the greetings of King Abdullah II Ibn Al Hussein to the Prime Minister.
