Singer Taylor Swift's concert in Thailand's capital has been axed because of political turmoil in the country.
The 24 year-old's tour was scheduled for June 9 as a part of the Asian leg of her Red tour, reports femalefirst.co.uk.
Concert promoter BEC-Tero informed fans of the cancelation on their website.
The statement issued by the organisers said: "Due to recent events in Thailand, Taylor Swift's concert in Bangkok has been cancelled. This has been a difficult decision for all parties. Taylor, AEG, BEC Tero and 13 Management all express regret and sincere apologies to the fans in Thailand."
The singer also expressed her disappointment.
"I'm sending my love to the fans in Thailand. I'm so sad about the concert being cancelled," Swift tweeted.
