A 16-year-old girl was gang-raped by three men in a restaurant here, police said Friday. The accused have been arrested.
The victim told police she met her neighbour Omar, 21, at a market in Jafrabad area in east Delhi Thursday afternoon. He took her to a restaurant where two of his friends were present.
"They raped her in a secluded area in the restaurant and threatened to kill her if she told anyone," a policed officer said.
"She was also beaten up during the sexual assault," the officer added. The girl went home and informed her parents.
Police said they arrested Omar and his friends Feroz, 23, and Salman, 21, late Thursday night.
