Thai King Bhumibol Adulyadej has recovered from a respiratory infection, according to a statement from the Royal Family's medical team.
The doctors stated in the statement issued on Sunday night that he world's longest-reigning monarch, who is 88 year-old, no longer has fever and his blood infection has also eased, EFE news reported.
Also the X-ray of his lungs showed no infection and thus the medical team has stopped administering antibiotics.
The monarch was still admitted in Bangkok's Siriraj Hospital.
The last public appearance of the monarch was on January 11, when he paid a visit to the Royal Chitralada Palace for a few hours.
Bhumibol has been on the throne since June 9, 1946.
